For Mindhunter: If you want to bold the date or do anything to it and you followed the instructions above you can create a views-view-field--created.tpl.php template file in your theme directory and edit it. 
1. Use the theme information in the block view, scroll down and select Field Node: Post date (ID: created). Clicking on that link would show you what the default views-view-field--created.tpl.php template file looks like. 
2. Copy that to your new template file you created earlier in your active theme. (this will override the default template file). 
3. Edit the template file by adding a span around the &quot;print output&quot; like this . 
4. Create a style in your style.css file in your theme directory to bold the text inside the element with an id of post-date and that&#039;s it. Hope this helps.</description>
